Protect yourself with confidence! Learn practical skills and practice scenarios that will help you make a good first choice, quickly and decisively. This course will be 3.5 hours. We’ll dive into OC spray (pepper spray)use, situational awareness, common pre-assault indicators, verbal de-escalation, and more. We will discuss many non-lethal options, and those of you who conceal carry will have the option to simulate using lethal force in your scenarios.

We will do image-based drills, act through scenarios, and partner up with classmates to get lots of repetition. The goal of this course is to teach you how to react in a variety of situations. You’ll have options ranging from fleeing, commanding the attacker to back off, calling 911, deploying tools like flashlights and pepper spray, and more. Gain confidence as you work through a variety of scenarios. No matter your background or experience level, we will coach you through making quick and confident decisions, in situations where every second counts.

The course costs $40 for AG & AG members, and $50 for non-members. The course comes with a brand new POM pepper spray and clip for you to take home. We will be using inert (water-based) spray in class for practice. No students will be sprayed with real pepper spray during this class.

What to bring:
-Brown bag lunch or snack (class will go from 10 AM – 1:30 PM, with a short on-site lunch break)

-Safety glasses (to avoid water being sprayed in your eyes)
